Here's an older and quite serious comic I did in 2008. I dabbled in the prospect of producing more of these maudlin, sharply-rendered strips, but the response seemed to be lacking compared to the feedback I was getting from the lighter comics. The hand cramps that came from hours of handling a brush pen weren't fun either. I always liked the end result, though.

I'm attempting to "beard" again. I grew one last year but when I got my hair cut shorter, the beard just didn't fit. I miss him.
